Nakshi Kantha is a traditional coating. It is an art. It has been used in rural Bengal for centuries. The process of making Nakshi Kantha is a bit difficult. Yet our women do it. To make Nakshi Kantha, a piece of old or new cloth is required. Some colored threads are required. Quickly, the cloth is folded. The women who are folding measure their length. 

They draw sketches of different things on the cloth. Then they start changing with colored threads. Thread and needle are the main things. Women pay a lot of attention to making it. Then, they soak the thread so that it can be used easily. After folding, they start stitching. Next, they make designs and patterns to make it a piece of art. In this way, it becomes suitable for us.
